Every year we start with a biblical truth in prayer. 1 Timothy 2:1-2 in the Message version reads:
The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know. Pray especially for rulers and their governments to rule well so we can be quietly about our business of living simply, in humble contemplation. This is the way our Savior God wants us to live.
What an amazing promise of God’s Word, that if we pray for our leaders it will help us live the way God wants us to live!
Proverbs 21:1 also says:
The king’s heart is like a stream of water directed by the LORD; he guides it wherever he pleases.
Another promise that God is in charge!
This prayer walk will be the most important of the 2018 year because of these promises that accompany our prayers. On purpose, we will pray for and bless:
